Medium knotless braids at mid-back length take about 5 hours with an experienced braider. Small knotless braids can take 6 to 8 hours, and large ones about 3.5 to 4.5 hours.

Small knotless braids usually take 6 to 8 hours: about 6 at shoulder length, 7 at mid-back and 8 at waist length.
Why does my braider block the whole day?
A long style really does fill the day, and the time before and after matters too. That is why many braiders ask for a deposit: if a client does not show, the whole day is lost.
Does washing my hair first save time?
Yes. Coming washed, detangled and blown out (if your braider asks for it) can save 30 to 60 minutes and keeps the price you were quoted.
How long do passion twists take?
Medium passion twists usually take about 4 to 4.5 hours. Small twists can take 5 to 6 hours.
